Hello,
I am Brittany Wescott
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, by way of a small town north, Callahan, FL, Brittany Wescott, 37, a graduate of Douglas Anderson school of the arts has explored several genres of music and is living in every avenue. Singing is more like breathing or eating for Wescott. In 2008 she and her sister auditioned in front of Paula, Simon and Randy gaining a ticket to Hollywood where she would become one of the top 65 finalist. Upon returning home, she and her sister formed a band of musically talented friends and they called it: KEMISTREE...KonnectingEveryMusicalIndividualSoundToReachEveryEntity...of the world. During Kemistree's lifetime they have opened and performed for Chrisette Michele, Anthony Hamilton and other major and local artist. Being able to grace the stage with seasoned professionals such as: Band of Destiny led by Cory Johnson, The Experience Band led by Christopher Stafford and MVP led by Jevon Hill has been an absolute pleasure. These great men of music have held a great weight of influence with Brittany, along with other awesome musicians in the city. Wescott is now the lead vocalist in Aardvark Record label's artist Mondo Mike the Po Boys and Spice and YES she is SPICE! Brittany and the PoBoys perform at several festivals and local and surround area events bringing a Mardi Gras flavor to the stage. The Royals, a high-end party band is Brittany's main musical endeavor currently. She truly enjoys traveling nearly every weekend performing at weddings and corporate engagements. In addition to performing music of all genres, Brittany is currently delivering great gospel tunes on the middays air waves through Jacksonville’s Hottest gospel midday show; her very own “The Middays with Brittany” on Praise 1079. Nothing brightens up her day more than hearing good music, creating good music and DELIVERING good music. With GOD and music life is bliss. It's not work, It's life, in Brittany's mind. Music is an universal language...The heart pumps at the rhythms movement. What is life...Without music!?
